Languages Network is a charity based in Haringey - North London. We are a first port of call, information and support centre for the local Arabic - speaking communities. Providing services directly or signposting towards training, welfare and advice.
We run an Arabic supplementary school for children aged between 5-16 years old. Our staff are fluent in both Arabic & English.
Our goal is to provide the necessary community language education and cultural skills for local children and adults in Arabic language. We attempt to fulfil this mission by providing;
- Excellent, innovative classroom instruction led by native Arabic Teachers.
- A wealth of autonomous learning and resources with the support of the community.
The Arabic language program emphasizes diversity and excellence and thus creates a more articulate, literate, multicultural and internationally effective citizenry.
Nelson Mandela said:
“If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head.
If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart. “
